A Message from Our Director- Suzanne Galer:

“The Future Belongs to those Who Believe in the Beauty of their Dreams”      - Eleanor Roosevelt

Dear Friends,

I love this quote by Eleanor Roosevelt, because I have always been a BIG dreamer!

Having lived a very busy life as a performer, professor, prep school teacher and church musician, my main joy in life is to be present for you, to put you on the stage or wherever your heart takes you.  I’m happy to give back to you all the amazing ideas and experiences that my performances, conductors, teachers, agents, directors, prep schools, degrees, parents, teachers, and church positions nationwide have given me.  You can easily learn about my musical journey on the links above.

My vision is to go far beyond musical notes, facts, and correctness.  Bel Canto builds thinkers, creators, and we want to guide our students to envision their own dreams, to help choose their music, to find their style, and to appreciate their uniqueness.  Know that relaxing, expressing our feelings, and having fun are also our goals.  We can combine that energy and win at life!

I think of our music studio as a musical cottage…filled with books, music, ideas, and a therapy cat or two. All ages attend Bel Canto, and our three yearly recitals are a family event.  They are a wonderful place to have your first performance in life, or to hone your skills for those who are already experienced.

Let us help you win at life while having a little fun.  If you have too many things going on or don’t have time to drive to the studio, we have developed strong zoom and Facetime options during the Pandemic!  Some students actually prefer hybrid or virtual lessons.

Take action now!  Text 336-430-8640 for the most immediate response!  Let’s make music!
